Same-day appointments may be available depending on the issue, location, and crew schedule. Call early with details about the repair so we can confirm the next available option. Emergency situations involving fire, severe shock, or downed power lines should be directed to 911 first.

We can handle a wide range of electrical repairs same-day, including tripping breakers that need replacement or circuit diagnosis, dead outlets and non-functional switches, flickering or dimming lights, GFCI outlets that trip repeatedly or will not reset, loose outlets or plugs that fall out, burned or melted outlets or switches, ceiling fan that is not working correctly, light fixture replacement or repair, and outdoor outlet or lighting issues. Most of these repairs are straightforward and can be completed within 1 to 2 hours once our electrician arrives. More complex repairs that require a permit, multiple electricians, or LADWP coordination — such as panel upgrades, service changes, whole-home rewiring, or repairs requiring new circuits — are typically scheduled separately and may not be eligible for same-day service. When you call, we will let you know whether your specific repair can be handled same-day or whether a scheduled appointment is more appropriate.

Same-day electrical service in Los Angeles is priced the same as scheduled service — there is no premium or rush fee for same-day appointments. Our diagnostic service call is $95 to $175, which covers the trip to your home, diagnosis of the problem, and a detailed quote for the repair. If you approve the repair and we complete it on the same visit, the diagnostic fee is typically waived and folded into the repair cost. Common same-day repair costs include: breaker replacement at $150 to $350, outlet or switch replacement at $150 to $300, GFCI outlet installation at $175 to $250, light fixture installation or replacement at $150 to $350, and ceiling fan replacement at $200 to $400. We accept all major credit cards, and payment is due upon completion of the work. We provide the full pricing upfront before any work begins, so there are never any surprises.
